Dr Francesco Da Ros, senior researcher in the Machine Learning in Photonics Systems (M-LiPS) group, will be supporting the supervision of DRs as co-supervisor, especially for the experimental part. His commitment to the project is 25% FTE. His expertise is in the field of optical communication systems and signal processing, including both optical and digital signal processing, as well as machine learning. He has (co-) supervised 9 PhD students (3 graduated), and has been involved in a number of large EU and Danish collaborative projects.
